Poetry covering my life's history. Ongoing--still breathing. My poems are a snapshot of a thought, of a feeling, of a time, of a person. But mostly myself as a male growing up from the 60's--after all, we could drink from a hose and survive and make it to the moon! Like that, these are a record of my journeys--what I learned, who I touched and touched me--all while in search of that illusive star and unicorn, which, spoiler alert, I did find. Now, as a graduate from the school of hard knocks, I continue to write from the heart. At the bottom of some, or could even be a title, are dates--you might need a time machine! The dates help to place the thoughts into a world that may no longer exist because, like us, this world evolves. But for that moment I stopped time...and I still can.
