Dave Strider has never liked the idea of owning a troll. Humanity's latest exotic pet turns into a must-have for the household by the time he's five, and he couldn't be more disturbed. But when Dave sees the unbeaten eyes of mutant blood at the market, does he really have a choice? Now with a life at the end of a leash, Dave has to face a whole new set of problems. Has our Cool Kid bitten off way more than he can chew? The story of an unlikely friendship formed from the cold ashes of the past and reaching for the stars. Follow the heart breaking, disturbing and beautiful story of Dave Strider and Karkat Vantas. Or A Homestuck AU where trolls are slaves to humans. The Condescension is galaxies away, humans conquered Alternia, and troll wrigglers are sent on ships as cargo, where they are "trained" on Earth and then sold. Warning: blood, nightmares, domestic abuse, etc. I don't wanna spoil it.

It's difficult enough for a young mutant prince to choose between the hand of the princess of the sea dwellers and the prince of humans. Add one begrudgingly attractive assassin and a handful of curveballs and you've got yourself one hell of an issue. I know there will be some misconception, but this is not a "Karkat is a highblood now" story. All of that will be explained. Just know that he is still a mutant blood and the rest will come later. Enjoy~

No one saw it coming. No one could have guessed that the vaccine that was supposed to save lives, would take them instead. Once the death toll started to climb, it took less than a day for the world to change forever. When Bri's roommate suddenly develops a taste for cannibalism, she finds herself trapped in her upstairs bathroom, unable to comprehend the horrors that she sees through the small window. That limited view of the outside world doesn't begin to show Bri just how much danger she's going to be in when she finally escapes her home. Running for her life, Bri won't be alone for long. With the help of a bat wielding stranger, she barely escapes the overrun city. Together, they just might survive long enough to find a safe haven. The zombie apocalypse is a strange time to be alive. The dead walk, and eat the living, but they're not the most dangerous thing this new world has to offer. There are other survivors out there. And not all of them can be trusted. I shouldn't have been walking around alone at night. I shouldn't have stopped and watch the obviously crazy man set the building on fire. And I sure of hell shouldn't have accidentally caught his attention. Then maybe, just maybe I wouldn't have been kidnapped by the world's most evil super villain. And then hopefully right now I wouldn't be wishing that he wasn't completely crazy, and wanted to kill every super hero in the world, and that he would, I don't know, take me to the movies, hold my hand as we walked together, or maybe take me to dinner one night. You know normal, cute couple stuff. Instead he likes to kick puppies when no ones watching, dropping me from high buildings, and throwing people into traffic, annoyingly. Maybe if I had just minded my own business and kept walking, maybe I wouldn't have been taken by someone who's whole mission in life is to watch every super die, and cackle evilly while he thinks of it. Maybe if I had just minded my own business and kept walking, maybe I wouldn't start feeling bad for this super villain. Maybe I wouldn't be questioning everything I've ever learned about him. And God forbid, I wouldn't be loving a villain.
