I freeze. I need to do something. Something needs to be done. And without thinking I run up to where Effie stands, pushing girls out of the way. "I volunteer! I volunteer as tribute!"

"Yes, Miss Everdeen. I own it all and I built this company from the ground up. I tend for it to stay the most successful," he leans close to my ear, his breathe tickling down my neck. "But it can be very risky and even dangerous." "How so?" I question back, finding his bright blue orbs. He stares back at me, studying me a moment before smirking a little. "Guess you'll just have to find out when you come to work." With that he goes behind his desk, scribbling something down with his pen. ***
