Everyone is born in this society colourblind to their soulmates eye color. When they find their soulmate and hold hands, that color flickers and glows. Denki Kaminari is your normal introverted electric kid with no parents and lives at his junior high's boarding school. When he passes the AU entrance exam he finds so many supportive people in his class and one specifically stands out to him. A guy called Hitoshi Shinsou. He is colorblind to the color purple, his soulmate's eye color, however he still hasn't managed to find the one yet.
