In which Vita Flores, instead of getting floated on her eighteenth birthday, gets send down to earth alongside 99 other teenage delinquents. After years of imagining a perfect paradise, consisting of nothing but beauty, Vita wakes up to a chaotic new world filled with wonders and dangers alike. Or where a young girl grows up and finds herself facing a long and rocky road. She learns that there is nothing entirely good or bad, but an in-between. The girl realises that the grounders aren't the savages her people made them out to be. GxG Lexa/OC A few hours of pain later, Zalia could already see the top of the Polis tower creeping up through the top of the trees. She knew there were still a few miles away, so they would most likely get there at dawn. Once they walked closer to the gates of the capital city of Polis, she could see people coming closer to the gates, waiting for her. But not in a good way, she knew that already. The leader of the Onagraun (Underground) was not welcome here. Once Zalia walked through the gates, the people got closer and started hitting her while they cheered on the victory. She felt a punch to her stomach while someone hit her on the back. This caused her to fall to the floor all while the horse kept moving, making her an easier target for people's kicks. "EM PLENI!" (ENOUGH!) someone yelled. Zalia couldn't hear clearly who it was since her ears were ringing for some reason. The tradition was that all nightbloods would be sent to Polis to train and eventually fight in Conclave; the winner would be crowned Commander. Your parents had another idea which included hiding you in your village so you could live a life that didn't end in death. Sadly, all secrets come out eventually, and you soon find yourself being sent to Polis to train with the other nightbloods against your will. The thing is, your years behind with your training compared to the others, and your new green-eyed partner doesn't seem to like you very much. - [set before Lexa becomes Commander]
