She tries to explain where she's been, but the words sound impossible-even to herself. Felix (Jax) returns to a house filled with memories he ran from. The last time he was there, he'd left after a fight with his mom's boyfriend. Awful words were said. But he ran, never looking back. Now he had to face the question he's been avoiding: after everything, does he still belong there? This is a story about two people rebuilding lives that kept moving without them. About finding familiarity in a world that no longer feels the same. And about a friendship that survives the circus-proving that even after everything falls apart, some connections don't disappear. As the two embraced that night, in that place of beginnings and endings, they promised they'd never leave each other's side. As the amber-eyed boy cried that night, she was there to comfort him. As the girl with the pink hair cried during that auspicious day, her bluish-pink eyes clouded with tears, he too was by her side. And now, together, they embrace what they hope to be an eternity of bliss.

After the boy lost her, he's been spending his days at the last place they laughed together. He recalls the short time the two spent together and laments her sudden death. If he'd been quicker, maybe Firefly would be next to him. As he thinks this, falling deep into a spiral of sadness, the unexpected hand of a pink-haired girl reaches out, attempting to help him out of his misery, left unaware of the faint feeling inside, slowly growing more prominent.
