When strangers are crammed into a lake house, there are bound to be relationships formed. But Peridot and Lapis didn't expect this.

Peridot Greene is a young agent at the very secretive agency (not ORIGANAL I know.) who has just been assigned her first case. Lapis lazulis is a failing reporter and story WRITER who can't seem to catch a break. But when Steven, their friend, brings them together as a favour, to get lapis a story that will start her career, life gets a little messy. Lapis Lazuli and Peridot Greene did not have what you would call a "friendship." Lapis would use Peridot for homework and cheated off her for test grades and in exchange, Peridot would get protection. They weren't really friends, more like partners. However, after an incorrect ingredient is used in a chemistry class, Lapis starts getting strange feelings for the small nerd. Feelings that extend far beyond friendship.

Peridot, the unpopular highschool nerd just wants to get through her last year of school quietly. But apparently that's impossible because of a rebellious blue haired actress and her tendency to pull peridot out of her comfort zone.
