And knowing all of the personal issues that Marshall comes with, Dre wants him nowhere near Lenika romantically. Simply because he doesn't want Marshall to ruin her character. Ruin her as a person. Being that Lenika is innocent, and Marshall is totally corrupted. Do you think that would stop either Marshall or Lenika from being attracted to each other though?? My spin on 6x13, instead of Kai fixing the ascendant, him and Elena go to the prison world to inform Bonnie about Silas' tombstone. On their journey to find Bonnie, Elena starts to notice that there are redeemable parts of Kai and can't help but fall for him. In this story, Bonnie was never going to commit suicide because I felt that kind of downgraded her character and I felt that that was kind of OOC of Julie Plec. This story is Kai x Elena with Damon x Elena undertones.
