Nico is deaf. He uses sign language, and can read lips. He scraped up enough money to go to college, but it's not the best college. There's homophobic Octavian and his gang...and the absolutely terrible teachers. Also, Nico doesn't have a roommate to stick up for him. He never minded though, because not having anyone was better than having another probably homophobe to deal with. - Will moved from America with his deaf sister and mom. His new college just happens to be Nico's....

When Will is told he has to go to high school, he doesn't have much of an opinion. Go there, protect some students, hang out with people he barely knew, be over with it. Fine, whatever. Though he finds himself having to be near a Nico Di Angelo an awful lot... Nico'd rather not be near anyone, period. People were annoying, after all, and he didn't trust them much. He was only here because he didn't feel like saying no. He's forced to be near a certain Will Solace, though, and said Will Solace may just change his mind on people. Another year, Nico is once again being forced to attend the school of Hogwarts. It's a casual year if you ignore the monsters, demigods, gods, wizards, and mortals. Another War has begun, except this time the Lord has risen again. Hector Potdealer, Rasin Waddle, and Hermes Grande are on their last year at Hogwarts. With the demigods back at Hogwarts they have a new task at hand. The Golden Trio are out looking for Horcruxes as the Demigods once again teach wizards how to defend themselves. Another war, another year for the Halfbloods, but this is nothing but a nightmare to the Wizards and Witches of Hogwarts. So I decided to make another story and I don't think anyone has done this before so here we are.

He has no friends, sits alone at lunch, and refuses to talk to anyone. He's depressed. He's lonely. He's insecure. His life changes when he meets the stubborn yet charming Will Solace. Will is optimistic, outgoing, and happy. Will is everything Nico's not. Will and Nico end up developing an unlikely friendship, that starts to blossom into something more. Meanwhile, his sister, Hazel, tries to help him get back on his feet. She introduces him to her quirky group of friends in hopes that he will make friends. At first, Nico is very reluctant. Hazel's friends are very different from him. And things don't improve when he starts to develop feelings for Percy Jackson, a handsome and charming boy that half the school idolizes. But, he soon warms up to this bunch and things improve. With a new set of friends and Will at his side, Nico feels unstoppable.
