Stepping out onto the pavement, you lean back and stare as the bus makes its way down the road, traveling farther and farther away until it disappears. You gripped your luggage tighter, beginning to walk your new path. You were going to see him. Your best friend, Michael. This entire plan was fabricated last minute, something you would have never done hadn't it been for his insistent nagging. A gray jacket was tied loosely around your waist, threatening to fall at any moment. Pondering why you had it (as it was nearing 80 degrees out, it felt), you reached down towards the jacket pocket. You pulled out a crinkled piece of paper, and neatly unfolded it until the faded ink was visible. It was barely legible, but you read the address as an old friend, already knowing which way it would lead you. You slow down your pace nearly to a stop, and gaze across BEACH CITY. A strange moment of tranquility passes though you, it seems, and just for a moment, you felt as if you were in the right place. Love is a funny thing is this world. It can bring out a flame in a person and light up colours that once seem unrecognizable. But it could also crush you beyond recognition. (Y/N) soon learns about the hardship of keeping herself through something much bigger than what she could ever imagine, all while finding new feelings for a stretchy pink gem named Spinel. Together, they learn how to grow and face the odds that test the bond they built. The question is, how much are you willing to lose yourself for love? WARNING: This story does dive into some deep topics that could be sensitive to some viewers, please remember to keep safe and take care of yourself. You are the most important thing in your own story.

Spinel will be more soft and sweet in this story, due to her change of heart. She will also have bad separation anxiety, but she'll try not to be clingy. However if the story calls for it (or if you request it) she will show her angry side. After the events with Spinel and her injector, you found yourself thinking about the gem more and more, in the following weeks. So when you finally asked Steven to take you to Homeworld, you were more than happy when he agreed. You wanted to know more about her. You wanted to be her friend. Even if she had tried to destroy your planet, you still wanted to be friends. In the short time you knew Spinel she always managed to make you smile (when she wasn't being evil).
