Having lost his mother when he was four and deemed quirkless at five, Izuku Midoriya wasn't gifted a good childhood. He grew up in less than caring foster homes, tossed from place to place like an unwanted animal, rarely staying in one home for more than a month. When he turns seven, his quirk manifests. He's left to fend for himself when his foster parents at the time kick him out onto the streets. They didn't get in trouble, saying that he ran away, but didn't mention his gaining a quirk. They wrote him off as a lost cause as a result. With that, the poor child is left to try to control a powerful fire quirk all on his own. So by the time he's eight, he's homeless, has a volatile quirk, and is living in one of the areas that heroes tend to avoid. Well, not all heroes.

We all have secrets but some are greater than others. What if Lance lied? What if he was still lying? When Lance was 5 he found out an old family secret. His family was full of assassins. He started his training at 7 and had already killed someone at 9. He hated killing people but his family made him. When he was 10 his whole family was wiped out. They were all killed. Lance was sent to foster homes for 3 years until being excepted into the Galaxy Garrison. He hated being an orphan and hated being an outcast so he played dumb. Always making others laugh and always not being the best at things. When he was 17 he started piloting the blue lion, with all of his secrets still hidden. Voltron Fanfic. I don't usually write things so sorry if it's bad.

Everyone is born with animal traits. Whether you're born with ears and a tail, or claws and fangs, everyone is born with something. The most common is to have some relation to a cat or wolf (ears and tails) and the rarest [and most dangerous] is to be born with wings. Lance is one of the few unlucky souls born with wings. He must deal with all the struggles of being a rare and valued trinket and learn how to become a Paladin.

It was obvious that being split up into different wormholes shook them up, but the stories that they were able to tell after were priceless. Lance hung to every word that came from their mouths; so why do they think that everything that he told them was a lie? (Allura, Keith, and Pidge think that Lance is lying about saving a planet, they don't think that it would ever be possible for him.)
