After Odin took his last breath at Norway cliffside, Hela did not immediately show up - which allowed Thor ten minutes or so with his poor excuse of a brother, namely: Loki. It was more than enough for an extremely furious God of Thunder, who was blinded by rage by the death of his father, to do what needed to be done to the luckless God of Mischief whom Thor believed was to blame. When Hela did show up, the two princes were in no condition to fight against her. Okay, maybe Thor could give it a try, even if he stood no chance nonetheless. But Loki? Hela took one glance at the bloodied mess on the floor and could not even tell whether or not it was alive. Things were already very messy. It got a whole lot messier from there. Or. A fic where Loki, Thor and Hela learned the ups and downs of having siblings.

Loki, the adoptive brother of Thor, is being abused by Odin. However, when some other students find out, things might finally change for the better.

After Loki's attack on Manhattan, he is sent back to Asgard and is sentenced to imprisonment. Except the second Thor leaves and returns to earth by choice, Odin transfers Loki to the dungeons and brutally tortures him until there is nothing left of the Loki that everyone knew, and becomes terrified and overly submissive, hiding his scars and never opening his mouth to speak. When Thor returns seven months later, he sees this but is not told why his brother has become like such. In a panic, Thor decides to dump him with S.H.E.I.L.D and is kept under watch by the Avengers in order to get him away from Asgard. To everyone's shock, he is too busy being terrified of punishment to try anything.
