THIS IS A COMP ENTRY, NOT A STORY. Iris's day couldn't get any worse. She had lost her promotion to a worker who started a month ago, her grandfather's been admitted to the hospital and her grandmother won't stop ringing, and now she's out of gas. Suddenly, a man pulls into the station directly next to Iris. Seeming to have run out of gas as well. ------------------------------ Decided to take a small break from my current WIP and write a piece for the 'Looking for Alaska' competition.
