After going on a camping trip and being invited into the Academy anything is possible, everything has a time limit on it and it is only a matter of when it will go off. Sang is alone at the house and is bored. She feels lonely. Find out what she does... This is not something I am used too lately. Alone at Nathan's home. The boys are doing sidejobs and I know Dr Sean is at the hospital. Now I do not want to be alone at the moment. Do I dare sent a message to Mr Blackbourne. I know he is the only one available. Well I think of it but I know he told me that I could always sent a message so I decide to sent a message to him. Sang to Mr Blackbourne: uhm can i ask a question? Mr Blackbourne: Ms Sorensen what is it? Did something happen? Sang: Well sort of I guess... Mr Blackbourne: What is it? I am sure I can be of help. Sang: I am feeling a bit lonely Mr Blackbourne: Ah I understand. Well I can be at the house in 30 minutes. Please dress nicely. I got a plan. Sang: Okay see you in 30 minutes. Ugh so now I have to decide what to wear. Dress nicely... what plan? I touch my lip hesitant. Going to the room and looking at the closet I see a nice pencil skirt and since it's gray I think it will be nice to wear. I match it with a pink blouse that i tuck in. Since it is a bit chilly outside I wear matching gray thights and my pink flats. I put on a tiny bit of makeup since I do not need much. A knock on the door and I know Mr Blackbourne is here. I walk to the door and grap my keys and purse. I know I need to try and think of those things. Mr Blackbourne looks happy to see me and says: 'Ms Sorensen you look classy.' He offers me his arm and guides me to his BMW. He drives to the better part of town and we go into a fancy lunchroom. They give us the menu and I look at it. Thinking what should I pick. Mr Blackbourne looks at the menu as well. He asks if it would be allright to go for the high tea. I agree to this since I never had it.

A fanfiction story inspired by the characters of CL Stone's Ghost Bird (and Scarab Beetle) series, set in the extended world of Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunters series. I own neither franchise, nor do I claim to. Rights belong to their respective owners. Starting on May 15th, aka Upload Day (courtesy of the lovely ladies on the FB group). ------- Sang Sorenson has always been able to 'see' more than ordinary people, to perceive strange and fantastical things out of the corner of her eye that she can't begin to explain, but, as the youngest daughter in a family who see her as nothing more than a glorified servant, she's used to being invisible. She takes solace in these fleeting glimpses into a world where she's not so alone... even if it's all just inside her mind. In the Downworld, there are whispers of a mysterious, avenging angel who runs the city with an iron fist. Nephilim from the Blackbourne Institute patrol the streets, keeping the peace and silencing anyone who dares disturbs it. Little is known about what goes on inside the gates of the Blackbourne Institute, but one thing is certain. If you catch a glimpse of a Shadowhunter stalking you in the night... run! When Sang finds herself thrown out onto the streets at night, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to an old, abandoned building that she swears she's never noticed before. Only, it's not nearly as abandoned as it seems. Sang is about to discover that there is more to the world around her than she could have ever thought possible... and she might have finally found a place that she can call home. Creative inspiration from the brilliant BLTS2004, and a gorgeous cover by rosebud024.

What if the Academy was a real place, a place that trains extraordinary people to do extraordinary things. Only these people... are something more than mere mortals. A fanfiction of the Ghost Bird Series by C L Stone, with a touch of Mythos Academy and Percy Jackson thrown in for good measure. When Sang is abandoned in the middle of nowhere by a father who wants to move on, she finds herself inside the Academy, a place where the students have abilities and powers she can't comprehend and the walls themselves seem to hum with history and magic. These students are the descendants of gods, myths and legends come to life. The school exists to keep them safe from the rest of the world and, in some cases, to keep the world safe from them. Then, of course, there's that one group of boys who keep to themselves, but that Sang can't help but feel drawn to. She's been warned that they're dangerous but she can't help but feel like there might be more to the story than meets the eye. Sang's arrival is about to shake the Academy to its foundations. An ancient, unspeakable evil is rising and the only one who can stop it is gone forever... or so the legends say. Cover Credit: @rosebud024 Previous Cover: @Tapiona
