What if at the instant Voldemort was killed, he cursed Harry Potter for eternity? Harry Potter is cursed to live a life time full of nothing but pain. The curse he was struck with was one no one had seen before and so now is stuck with it for the rest of his life. The curse puts the poor man in excruciating pain for one hour randomly every day. When it is over, Harry is covered with cuts, bruises, and burns that appear seemingly out of no where. However, he never lets that stop him from doing what he loves, which is teaching. Now, ten years later, Harry Potter works as a Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts alongside Hermione as the Potions professor and Neville as the Herbology professor. Ron decided to become an Auror and was doing a magnificent job. Harry is also raising his now ten year old Godson, Teddy, who during the day goes to a wizarding school while Harry teaches lessons. But what happens when Teddy brings home his best friend, Scorpius, who just so happens to be Draco Malfoy's son? What will the two seemingly enemies think of their sudden reunion?

Harry Potter had defeated Voldemort and everything in the wizarding world was going back to normal. At least, for the most part. Only a handful of seventh years had decided to come back to Hogwarts for one final year in hopes of completing their studies. Harry, who was sick and tired of locking himself in his old God father's house all summer long decided to join his two best friends for an eighth and hopefully, uneventful year at Hogwarts, but it's far from that. Ever since he defeated Voldemort, Harry's magic has been out of control and tends to spill out when experiencing strong emotions. He usually ends up breaking things around him and evidently hurts himself in the end. He had hoped returning to Hogwarts he could solve the mystery of his overwhelming magic, but it turns out that it'll be harder than he first thought when he nearly takes off the head of Draco Malfoy one evening after classes. The two now reunited, Draco feels as though he owes Harry for convincing the Ministry to drop all charges against him and decides to help Harry solve his magical outbursts.

After the battle of Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy ran away from the death eaters and returned to Hogwarts for the eighth year. This year, Hogwarts decides to do a student exchange program between the houses. Four unfortunate students are picked from all of the eighth-year students, one from each house, and they are put into one of the other three houses for a whole month. What will happen when Harry Potter is chosen and transferred to Slytherin to share a dorm with his arch-enemy, Draco Malfoy? Warning: I have been writing this story since middle school, I'm now in highschool and about a quarter of the way through. The updates are not regular and this story will likely not be finished soon, so if you're looking for a complete story this isn't it! It is a slow burn after all. Includes: Drarry, Romione, Heterochromia! Draco, and a teensy (and I mean teensy) bit of amortentia to spice it up a little. The war ended 4 months ago and an eighth year has been introduced. All previous seventh years were given the option to come back to Hogwarts, many accepted, this included (our main characters 😏) Harry, Ron, Hermione, Pansy, Draco, Blaise, Neville, Luna and Theodore.
