Kenma,sin da quando era piccolo,è sempre stato amico di Kuroo,iniziando,grazie a lui,a giocare a pallavolo nel ruolo di alzatore. Tuttavia il capitano,non sa che lui prova più di una semplice amicizia per lui,e questo rende al piccoletto le cose più difficili. Il ritiro d'allenamento estivo,per la preparazione agli interscolastici, è vicino e ciò significava che molte squadre,oltre che di Tokyo stessa,anche di Miyagi avrebbero aderito. Kenma pensava che sarebbe stata l'occasione buona per rivelare i suoi sentimenti a Kuroo fino a che,non iniziò a ricevere delle strane email anonime. All'inizio non curante ma,successivamente,la cosa stava sfuggendo di mano,e le mail,oltre che diventare sempre più minacciose e pesanti,rischiavano anche di coinvolgere altri giocatori,se Kenma non avesse eseguito le istruzioni dettate da esse...
