The Cole family relocates to southern Mississippi to escape the hustle of inner city Chicago. The youngest daughter discovers a grove of wild peach trees near their plot of land. She brings as many peaches as she can carry home and indirectly introduces the Cole family to ghosts of the past.

Two guys. Both are dead. Both are resting in "peace. But one of them soon finds out just how ambiguous the word peace can be.
