Fast forward to the present day, a typical debriefing at the Academy Hospital turns their whole team's world upside down. In the Scarab Beetle series, there is one mention of a 12 year old girl whose score at Ashley Waters High School were higher then Wil Winchester's, but no explanation is ever made of who she is, what she is like, or any mention of her in the Ghost Bird series. She interested me, so I wrote the beginning of her tale... India Mikasi is a genius, they say, but she doesn't see herself that way. Of herself, she just says she was a "little brighter than average" and that as a mixed race person, she knew what it was like to be reviled, despised, and then ultimately ignored. At Ashley Waters she was small enough to avoid the bullying, hear a lot she shouldn't have, and acquired nine adopted brothers and a sister of the heart... all before her thirteenth birthday.

A Ghostbird/Scarab Beetle crossover. Sang Sorenson has what some might call a gift, but to her, it's a curse. Ever since Sang can remember, she has been able to shift into a cat at will. Something her mother has always punished her for. Forced to live like an animal, Sang survives off scraps thrown at her by her abusive family. When her Dad's promotion causes her family to move, they drag her along with them. ~ The Blackbourne and Toma teams have found out that their missions are actually linked and the only way they can complete it is by joining together temporarily. After all, 14 heads are better than 1 right? A chance encounter with a stray cat causes their lives to change drastically though. What will happen when these boys realize that the cat they've come to love and adore, is actually a girl, a human like them? ~~~~~~~~~~ Ignore the blurb, i'm not very good at them. All characters belong to Cl stone, though i wish i was creative enough to make such awesome characters. only parts of the story are from my imagination.

The end has come, demons have appeared amongst the people and started to slaughter them all. The fight for survival isn't a pretty one, the academy boys are sure of that. sang and Jess need to find the blackbourne team. The toma's have joined forces with the boys. But sang and Jess have help... there's a girl, fierce and deadly who comes from a different darkness than the demons, some say she's a demon herself, she just says she's surviving.
