Written in the format of a screenplay, author Luana Mullens paints a story of trauma and teenage angst through Annelise. With bottle blonde hair and self-destructive tendencies, she abuses drugs and alcohol like it means nothing. Going from party to party, her everyday seems to blur the lines between having fun and wanting to die.
