In the year, 2050, somewhere on planet earth, Jasmine, is set on a blind date, unbeknownst to her that her date is a noble and respected super-hero. In this short story, she tries to elevate herself enough to look like his equal, despite her anti heroic qualities.

Drowning yourself in alcohol won't accomplish anything. She was my daughter too, you know?" I said, with hot tears now streaming down my face. "Can you just leave me alone" He said, taking a swig of his beer, now looking dejected. "This is all my fault, anyway. If I had just let her stay in that hospital a little while longer....." "Stop that. Its not your fault and you should realize that and stop giving way to depression. We lost our daughter which kills me more everyday but we should also move on with our lives." "Just forget it, I'm leaving" He said already on his way to the door. "Don't wait up."
