6,000 years ago, a demon fell for an angel. After the Apocalypse doesn't happen, he remembers six millennia of tentative friendship, daring rescues and growing love. Now there may not be any reasons left not to be in love. If you've read any of my other Ineffable Husbands fic, you probably know what to expect: pining, kissing, history, bickering, humour, angst, lust, music, poetry, ridiculously expensive hotels, Dagon being Crowley's line manager, and a happy ending. Art (including my cover) by the wonderful loni_caprifolicum and Tamsly, made especially for this fic for Good Omens Big Bang 2019. Please respect their ownership of their art.

The idea of Aziraphale being a Pirate Captain is so patently absurd that Crowley has no choice but to stowaway on his ship. Which is precisely how Crowley ends up in the brig of a pirate ship, manacled to an angel who is wearing a distracting amount of velvet, lace and silk stockings.

Being an account of how the Demon Crowley, Serpent of the Garden of Eden, fell in love with Principality Aziraphale, Guardian of the Eastern Gate, and a correction of the account of the same event timeline regarding the Principality Aziraphale, an extraordinarily biased account which left out all of Aziraphale's best moments in a fit of misplaced humility.

Crowley must battle for his life within the walls of the Colosseum in order to win his freedom. But can he do it, when his hellish powers have been revoked? Angst/Fluff/Romance (Happy Ending)

6,000 years of slow burn has to catch fire eventually. This series picks up immediately upon conclusion of the Good Omens show, after the dinner at the Ritz. It chronicles the (at long, long last) romantic aftermath of Not-Armageddon in the first main installment, "Ineffably Inevitable," then continues chronologically in chapter-style stories. Some are short and sweet, some are longer, all are full of the love between our favorite angel and demon. Despite all the odds and the forces of heaven and hell arraigned against Crowley and Aziraphale, some things are simply inevitable. [Originally published as a series of stories on AO3]

That was no way to think, just because a stupid ex-nun misinterpreted a blamelessly hostile situation. That way lay madness. That way lay an angel with disapprovingly pursed lips and pitying pale eyes and "My dear boy, I'm so *very* sorry, but..." and Armageddon would come as a relief after that, really.

Crowley finds his secret conviction that the world was designed for his personal entertainment severely tested by the bloody boring fourteenth century. But what is he a demon for, if not to spice things up a bit? It's irrelevant that a certain angel is taking his orders seriously for once and embarking on a life of self-denial and doing good. That isn't the reason Crowley is bored, at all. And he certainly isn't acting up to get Aziraphale's attention because he's desperately in love or anything.
