He battles constantly with his emotions and sexual orientation with barely any control, and it's all because of one boy. That boy is Logan Decker, a nerd with a short temper and a soft side. Logan's home life is not ideal but he holds it all together (sometimes). Their relationship is complicated, to say the least, and it never seems to get resolved completely before something new is thrown their way. Even after going through the highs and extreme lows of high school together, they separate some time during college in different states before they meet again years later as adults. But some things have changed. A lot, in fact. "What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.

Virgil has a secret, they all know that. It's the reason he never takes off his sweatshirt, it's the reason he does his own laundry, and it's the reason he feels different from the other three. When they find his secret, will it push them away like Virgil fears? (Trans! Virgil fic. Also some prinxiety and logicality so yah.)

Prince Roman was loved throughout the entire land. His Father, King Thomas, was a courageous soul that loved all. However, one night his Father died amidst his sleep leaving Roman alone at a mere four years old with his awful Grandmother to rule the kingdom. She wasn't as much liked as the King to say the least. She outlawed homosexual relationships, taxed the poor and cut off all contact with the enchanted forest now known as the forbidden forest of which creatures beyond imagine lived. Many knights had went off to discover the mysteries they held. None returned. But Roman just wasn't convinced so on one starry night he ventured into the great unknown and came back undoubtably in love.

I will protect them. ???: My life for theirs. I'd trade my life for theirs anyday. Without hesitation. ?: How do you know I won't kill them once you're gone? She takes another step towards them, her hand glowing a deep red. ???: You may be evil, but you're always loyal to you're deals. She thinks for a bit. ?: Alright, fair enough. We have a deal. She walks towards me with her hand now glowing blue and reaches out. I can hear them yelling, but I will protect them. ???: Deal. We shake hands. I immediately start screaming and fall to my knees. I use my last bit of strength to glance over at them. They're gone. That means they're safe and back home. I smile lightly as I black out. *?? POV* ??: Such a selfless act that deserves to rewarded. I'll see you soon my boy. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Roman Sanders is typical 15 year old, ya know, minus the red eyes. He also sees ghosts... ok so maybe not the typical 15 year old, but he does his best. Virgil is a ghost. He doesn't remember anything about his past life, but that's ok. Who needs to worry about that when he's too busy living life (sort of) with his best friend Roman?

Logan and Patton have known each other since high school, they are complete opposites but that's what drew them together. After being together since Prom and throughout college and university, they decide to adopt. And that's when they adopt a small child named Virgil.
