Eda is a flight-risk mercenary with a bad track record. Living on half-payments from uncompleted jobs, she hopes that her luck will change. And it does. When Eda meets Gandalf, he tells her that being reluctant to kill - valuing life - is not a weakness. And seeing Eda's true colors beneath her tough and careless facade, he hires her to protect his favorite Hobbit as Bilbo takes an unexpected holiday. But even that doesn't quite go according to plan... *cover art created by @elvenmystery.* **All credit goes to J.R.R. Tolkien for everything except the character(s) I created.** Rated PG-13 for action violence, intense battle sequences, and mild suggestive reference.

In the heart of the cursed Mirkwood Forest, Legolas, the prince of the woodland realm, is haunted by an inexplicable feeling of being watched. Unbeknownst to him, his every move is shadowed by a female elf (I am not going to reveal the name), the enigmatic and fiercely skilled general of the Mirkwood army, who has vowed to protect her prince and her king - Thranduil. Legolas, however, remains unaware of her presence. Every midnight, she cloaks herself in secrecy and ventures out to meet him, masking her identity. Under the cover of darkness, she observes him carefully. Amidst the looming threats of darkness creeping into Mirkwood, the unlikely bond between Legolas and the general becomes both a source of strength and vulnerability. When news of the One Ring's existence and its devastating power reaches the woodland realm, Legolas, along with a fellowship of brave companions, embarks on a perilous quest to destroy the Ring and save Middle-earth from the clutches of darkness. In a tale of hidden identities, midnight meetings, and unspoken emotions, "Shadows of Mirkwood" explores the profound connection between two souls destined to protect their realm and, in the process, find solace in each other's arms. As they face the ultimate quest to destroy the Ring, their love becomes a beacon of hope in the face of overwhelming darkness. Will their love withstand the challenges of secrecy, duty, and the temptation of the Ring, or will the shadows that brought them together also tear them apart?

What becomes of a soul when the darkness within threatens to eclipse the light around it? Middle-Earth has weathered countless storms and wars, but in the shadowed folds of the Third Age, a new and ancient evil stirs. Amidst Men, Hobbits, and Elves, walks Assena Greywood - daughter of a soldier... and a Witch. She moves like the whisper of the wind through autumn leaves - graceful, untamed, and fiercely alive. Gifted with the raw power to command the elements, Assena is a tempest cloaked in beauty, a force of nature both mesmerizing and dangerous. Yet beneath the steady calm of her gaze lies a storm of secrets. In a world where women are not meant to wield power, and Witches even less, her strength is both a rebellion and a curse. She walks a path fraught with newfound friendships, tangled beliefs, and the aching weight of a destiny she did not choose. All that hangs in the balance - the fate of Middle-Earth itself - rests on one unyielding truth: the One Ring must be destroyed. And in the heart of that perilous journey, Assena's story unfolds; like the first breath of dawn through a twilight sky. ~ Started: December 2024 Completed: May 2025 DUN DUN DUN I love middle earth Also for reference this is a Legolas SLOWBURN 🤩 I suggest knowing the narrative before reading this personal mind mess. Solely because it would make it all the more enjoyable and understandable. Yet if you haven't and you're into a bit of fantastical adventure, come along for the ride!! For fans, not all details are book/film accurate! (Like, Assena is a Witch for starters) but don't fret! I have included the best things from the Tolkien and Peter Jackson world hopefully!!! Chapters with * are flashbacks :)

Legolas/OC Romance/Adventure. Even after the Ring's destruction, evil still lurks in Middle Earth. Legolas uncovers an ancient threat, one that could spell the doom of men and elves. Legolas promised Aragorn he'd start an elven colony in Gondor...only leadership was never Legolas' forte. He's recruiting elves from his realm and Lothlorien, but not all of them are gung-ho Legolas fans! In fact, some of them are downright resentful. He's struggling to make things work before they even reach the colony. And if he weren't having enough problems, he and his scouts encounter something truly terrible...all on the way to Building Ithilien. Cover Art Credit: "Elven Archer" by John Alvin.

[A Wattpad FEATURED story!] She's been King Thranduil's close friend for a long time. But when a shocking rumor about his past comes to light, it shakes her entire world. How well does she really know him? With the threat of war and an uncertain future for the Woodland Realm, her comfortable life is changing forever, and so are her feelings for her friend. A story about second chances with eventual romance. Set during the events of the Lord of the Rings. Thranduil/OC Disclaimer: Everything belongs to Tolkien except for my characters. A/N: It was before Christmas 2014 when I first watched BBC's Emma with Romola Garai (wonderful, by the way - watch it if you haven't). A few days later I went to see The Hobbit BOTFA on its opening night. It was during a car trip from a family Christmas party when I came up with idea for this story. And while it doesn't follow the Jane Austen classic completely (Thranduil is no Mr. Knightley!), it was certainly inspired by it. I enjoyed the challenge. Check out the FB page for the story: facebook.com/StarsofVardafanpage/ (thanks to @MaggieShivers for creating it and running it!)

Once a luminous axis in the outer systems-spoken of in tones usually reserved for miracles-Elydra is now erased with bureaucratic indifference, as if entire civilizations can be papered over by omission. Its constellations have been renamed. Its soil ground to carbon beneath the crawl of imperial machines. Its myths sold back to the galaxy in the form of sterilized exhibits curated by historians who never walked among the breathing temples or listened to the skyroots whisper their ancestor names. The Empire called it justice. Progress. Efficiency. Brother Day, cloned god-emperor of recursion and ritual, wears divinity like a costume passed down too many times. Sculpted in logic, crowned by inertia, he ordered the erasure of a civilization as if reformatting a file. But even precision fails when the data fights back. Elira-its one and only rightful heir-was meant to die with it. A child of the sacred bloodline, born into rites older than the Empire itself, her lineage etched in the sacred spiral script known only to the astronomer-priests and neurospirit-weavers. Her name was carved into orrery stones beside celestial predictions no longer believed. Her soul was intended to be a cipher through which the stars might remember themselves. Now chosen-offered, bartered, condemned-into political union with the executioner of her lineage, Elira maps the anatomy of revenge. Her existence is a blasphemy in the house of the Empire's gods, and she intends to profane every altar. This work is an original extension of that universe for transformative purposes. All additional characters, worldbuilding, and narrative designs contained herein are creations of my own‼️
