My escape from the world, in words.

Some say I see life through a rose-colored glass But there is simply not enough space! If you tried to contain all the love that I hide The glass would shatter the hinges would break It fits more to say that I bought a house to coat in pink in which porch I sit and I spin my romantic fantasies This book started merely as a journal of my feelings, all disguised in the shape of quotes and poems that I Identified with (and was secretly dedicating to my crush). Later down the line, I started writing my own! I take zero credit for the works tagged as "unknown". If you know who they belong to, please leave a comment. I look at you with empty eyes from across the crowdy room. I never spoke when I was with you, and for a long time I hid from that quiet disguise. Little did you know I cried under the rain, and I sang with our song. When I'm alone I think of you, I think of the thoughts I wanted to tell you, the words that twisted my tongue when I'm near you.
