Thomas Rosewell was born into a very noble and rich family. Tord Lawson was also born into a very rich and noble family. Before both of their births, their parents signed a contract that their first children will marry each other no matter what gender. Out of the two boys, only Tord knows about the contract, which makes his meetings with the Rosewell family very awkward. Especially since Tom has a major disliking to the Lawson family.
