Ciel Phantomhive, a demon. Sebastian Michaelis, a butler for eternity. Forever. That's what Sebastian had thought until his young master somehow fell ill and died. After giving his master a proper burial Sebastian returned to make contracts once again. In the year of 2012 after a rather short and boring contract Sebastian is bumped into by a spitting image of the Earl Phantomhive. Intrigued by the soul and it's alikeness to Ciel Phantomhive's soul drives Sebastian to seek out this boy and to find out if his young master is really alive.

Present Day AU. Sebastian is a BL novelist and Ciel is a new intern at Funtom Publishing. When their paths cross, sparks fly between them: Ciel wants revenge and Sebastian wants more of Ciel.

Sebastian was searching for yet another soul, and ran across little Ciel Phantomhive. Nearly three years later, he found himself wondering if he really wanted to end the child's life, and what he was feeling for the hateful child.

Ciel Phantomhive is intrigued by feelings that a demon, now his butler brings out in him. This butler teaches him what love is and promises to introduce the boy to happiness and other euphoric feelings he never knew existed-while teaching him a few other things. The present time ciel works for the queen "the queen loyal dog" to rid the city of crime. Along with him is the so faithful demon whom is just merely " one hell of a butler". One day at the Phantomhive estate, things are heating up as the servants cause trouble for Sebastian and annoy Ciel, so the butler decides to send them away on a vacation in order to have a little piece and quiet. Things turn for the better when young master Ciel becomes bored and wants to a have some "entertainment".
