This story is based on a season 19 episode called Matt's Love Story. Matt's Love Story was written by Ron Bishop and directed by Gunnar Hellstrom. The episode aired during season 19. Although I have taken license with the story, I have also borrowed some of Mr. Bishop's dialogue, This is an alternate (made up) version of what might have happened between Matt Dillon and Mike Yardner.

Basically this has nothing to do with the actual story of RE 7 or 8 (that didn't happen) This is set in modern times. Everyone is somewhat normal with a bit of supernatural powers and abilities. Lady Dimitrescu makes and sells wine with her daughters (She's still a vampire.) Donna makes and sells dolls. (She's known and seems as a doll due to some prosthetics.) Monroe is a fishermen and sells fish of all kind. (He's seen as a merman/siren since he can swim and dive to depths that normal people can't. He can hold his breath for hours on end.) Karl Heisenberg works in a factory, does a lot of metal working. (He's a lycan, but he hides it very very well) Ethan and Mia are in an arranged marriage. Ethan is happy, but Mia isn't. She has cheated on Ethan multiple times, but hasn't divorced yet due to Rose (who might not be Ethan's child).
