Determined to keep her safe, they decide to bring Rose to Cross Academy, a unique school that accommodates both vampires and humans in the hope of fostering coexistence. However, as Rose navigates her new surroundings, she discovers that the shadows conceal not only potential dangers but also elusive secrets from her own past that remain just beyond her recollection. What unfolds when Rose, instead of the original novel's main character, assumes the role of the true protagonist?
