Doch natürlich verkackte ich es schon am ersten Tag, als ich den Lehrer umrannte und auch Mal seinen Kaffe kosten durfte. Das meiste ging nur leider auf mein Shirt. Der einzige der mich nicht auslachte, war dieser Blonde Junge, an den ich auch auf dem Nachhauseweg ständig dachte. Zuhause angekommen entdeckte ich meine Mutter Mal wieder mit einer Flasche in der Hand auf der Erde sitzend und machte mir nichts draus. Erst als es klirrte und sie laut schrie beschloss ich gucken zu gehen. Sie hatte sich schon mehrere Male geschnitten und das Blut lief in die Pfütze aus Bier und Tränen hinein. Ich hob sie vom Boden auf und setzte sie auf einen Stuhl. Dann suchte ich irgendwas womit ich die Splitter rausbekamen und etwas womit ich die Wunden dann auch verbinden konnte, denn wir besaßen weder eine Pinzette noch Verbände. Ich war wirklich vorsichtig, sodass es ihr wenig weh tun musste, doch plötzlich zog sie ihre Hand weg und schlug mir mit der flachen Hand ins Gesicht. „Das tut weh du unnützes Pack!" schrie sie mich an. Immer wieder musste ich an den Jungen denken, der mir geholfen hat, als alle mich Mal wieder ausgelacht hatten. Ich glaube Corbyn war sein Name. Er schien mich nicht von Anfang an zu Hassen.
