Takes place right after the ending of the book, as everyone gets escorted to the ship. it turns out they have to spend some more time together as it's unsafe to go back, but enemy forces have also seen the smoke and have been drawn to the ship. Now what? Dunno if anyone's actually gonna read this. If not it's okay, I just need self satisfaction due to the fact that the ending is sad... also this will be Jalph but it's a looooonnngggg process of their relationship to go back to at least normal. >:)

One shot- After escaping the hunters' grasps, Ralph went into hiding, living his days in seclusion with the hope of being rescued. That it until the black cap himself finds him. Ralph is adamant that Merridew is going to kill him, but to his surprise that is not the case. Ralph/Jack slash.

Ralph and Jack are on top of fire mountain, at first all Ralph can do is complain and nag about the signal fire being neglected. But Jack has some unrequited love to take care of, how will it end?

My take on what happened to Jack and Ralph after they were rescued in Lord of the Flies. Jack finally admits to his guilt over the insanity he wreaked on the island -and his feelings for Ralph- but what will it take for him to earn Ralph's approval again? *I do not own or claim to own Lord of the Flies or any of the characters used or mentioned*
