Zira, a young goddess restless with her immortal existence, yearns to leave the shimmering halls of Olympus behind for a chance at a mortal life. But crossing the boundary between gods and humans is forbidden-and dangerous. As she ventures into the human world with the help of her loyal friends, Zira soon finds herself hunted by divine forces determined to end her dream once and for all. Old wounds reopen between gods once united by friendship but now torn apart by betrayal and judgment. At the heart of the conflict lie secrets that could shatter the balance of both realms. In a story of loyalty, courage, and self-discovery, Zira must decide: will she fight to become human, or will the gods' cold justice doom her forever?

Jack Hansard is the man who can sell you anything. Luck in a bottle, fame in a box, dreams on a leash, you name it: if he doesn't have it, he'll convince you he has something better. He's a trader on what's known as the Black Market - the occult Black Market, that is. If you're in need of that extra special something to curse your ex-lover or win your fortune, Hansard's the man to go to. Just make sure you check the 'best before' date on anything you buy. This is Season 1 of the Jack Hansard short story series - each Episode is a separate story, but follows an overarching plot much like a TV series. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! "You know, it won't physically hurt you to be nice for once." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and groaned. "I don't want to take a chance." the corner of his lips lifted a little as he finished his sentence. "Well, you don't hear me complaining. The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying? "You know what, just take your arrogant ass out of my room." I scowled at him, pointing towards the door. With small steps, he walked towards me. I took a step backwards when he neared me. He was invading my personal space, making me a bit flustered. The urge to push back his golden-brown hair covering his forehead was increasing with every passing second. "Gladly." he mumbled against my face and then walked past me out of my room. It took me a minute to calm down my racing heartbeat. ... He was a mystery, an enigma I wanted to solve. He was exhausting, he was infuriating, yet staying away from him was not an option. He was making me feel things I haven't felt before. Adam McArdle! Who are you and what are you doing to my poor little heart? ... #1 in GENERAL FICTION (23-05-2019) #1 in CHICKLIT (21-07-2019)
