Until it had all changed. A zombie apocalypse! The only questions are: who created it? Why is this happening? *None of these characters are the same from The Unknown Life. En route to an urgent humanitarian mission, the U.S.S. Enterprise D stumbles upon a strange sight; a blue, wooden box stranded in the middle of Federation territory, motionless and without power. Its occupant, a strange, seemingly British chap stranded in a universe that is not its own. The challenge to the Enterprise's crew seems straightforward enough; learn if this strange occupant is really who and what he claims to be. But for the Doctor, the questions he face are far more troubling... and, should he find the answers he seeks, he may well wish he hadn't. I would like to dedicate this story to the all wonderful actors and actresses of the original series we've lost over the years.
