❝ Pain was my fuel, until the fire began bleeding from my veins. ❞ The girl without a name. The black-haired fiend devoid of fear. The sharp-tongued scoundrel always ready with a trick up her sleeve. Thief and street rat Azura knows how to hustle a man better than she knows how to read. Some skills are far more important than others in the dog-eat-dog world she survives in. She knows Rupteran will only play nice when the Sharlik Empire keels over and dies, which isn't going to be anytime soon with the piss-poor job the rebellion is doing. But when a robbery that could turn her life around goes sour, Azura's sharp wit and blackened heart will be tested. One should be wary before cornering a wounded animal, and that's exactly how the rebellion finds Azura. With her bloody teeth bared and her hackles risen, Azura is ready to bite off the hand they offer her. But some deals are just too alluring to pass up. ༛༛ ༛ ༛༺༻༛ ༛ ༛༛ ➳ Complete! ➳ Amazing cover designed by @-wanderes ➳ Constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated ༛༛ ༛ ༛༺༻༛ ༛ ༛༛ ➳ Featured in @WattpadDarkFantasy's 'A Kingdom In Shadows' reading list ➳ Featured in @WattpadStars 'Fantasy' reading list ➳ Featured in @WattpadHornsandHalos 'Nephilim Stories' reading list ➳ Featured in @StoriesUndiscovered 'Explore The Stars' reading list ➳ Featured in @antiheroesgalore's 'Monstrously Fantastic' reading list ➳ Featured in @mythandlegend's 'Legendary Creatures and Hybrids' reading list ➳ 'Best Leading Character' in The 2020 Sinne Awards ➳ 'Book To TV Potential' in The 2020 Sinne Awards [[word count: 70,000 - 80,000]]

[Completed] The Royal Guard of the Empire has faithfully served Byzantia for nearly three centuries now. Hand picked from foreign lands, these guardsmen hold no political ties, carry no agendas, and bare no creeds except to those who sit upon the Onyx Throne. They are vanguards, protectors, loyalists. They are Vangen. Change has come to the Empire. An Empress sits upon the throne now, destroying any who would rebel against her with both fire and iron. To the east, her loyal Vangen work to quash the newest rebellion, until a letter arrives one day, marked with the Empresses seal. The contents within bare only dread and disturbance for the Guardsmen. The Black Ministry, the former Emperor's cabal of Sorcerers, have turned against the Empress. The Vangen's return is bittersweet. The city they once called home is now a battlefield, every street a choke-point. Every home a possible nesting ground for rebels. The Royal Guard will have to fight tooth and nail to put down the Ministry and protect the Empress, but the deeper they go, the harder the lines begin to blur. In a world where good and evil does not exist, where then does a man's loyalty lie? (Comments and Feedback are always appreciated)

"The sound of the impact echoed through the air. I stand frozen in place, staring at the boy's broken body lying just feet from me. Others in the square rush to his side, but I could tell from the amount of blood pooling around him and the way his bones were contorted that the boy was beyond saving. The King wanted to send a message and he sent it effectively- help me, and you will die." ____________________________________ For years Lexi's parents used their dark magic to breed fear and misery throughout the mysterious land of Kapanathy. Although they have since been executed for their crimes, another has taken their place on the throne and has proven himself to be the most heinous sovereign in Kapanathy's history. An ancient prophecy foresees only Lexi has the power to subdue the new monarch, but she's concerned that tapping into her magic will force her into darkness like her parents. Her task becomes even more difficult when she discovers she shares a puzzling, but dangerous connection with the vicious king. Lexi embarks on an incredible journey of self-discovery, betrayal, and romance as she travels to the mysterious land of Kapanathy to fulfill her destiny as the sole conqueror of the blood-thirsty king, all while fighting against the darkness that courses through her veins, threatening to consume her. ** WATTYS 2018 WINNER ** Not one person in the history of the world ever said being Deathsworn was an easy thing. Fun, sometimes, and completely your fault, but never easy. You have one rule that you obey, unless, of course, you want to die. Your life is your list, your list is your life. For the Gallowmen, their journey as Deathsworn has seen them travel the broken realm of Oblivia. From Green Country to the Island Kingdoms, from Sand Country to the Scavania. Death follows where they go, their list gets shorter, and the dream of life becomes half-real. It would be fine if things were that simple. But curious things are happening in the west and the Burned Priests are charged with confronting the Empire's greatest threats. Where they point, the Deathsworn must go. They'll do their job, ask no questions, and get their freedom. Or they'll die trying. *Deathsworn is a spin-off story from a much larger trilogy I'm currently writing. Comments/reviews/feedback would be greatly appreciated wherever possible. Volume I of IV is COMPLETE ... Enjoy.

**Featured on DARK FANTASY and ADULT FICTION reading lists** WARNING: EATING OR DRINKING WHILE READING THIS STORY IS HIGHLY INADVISABLE. Once Upon A Time, Good Omens, Monty Python, and Arrested Development had a back-alley three-way and birthed a fairytale. Gerald wasn't supposed to be stuck living seven centuries in the future. He definitely wasn't supposed to be "mentoring" The Dark Lord's progeny in the hopes that she would decide to save the world rather than destroy it. In fact, he wasn't even supposed to be named Gerald (the name of every other male in his family for three hundred years), because everyone assumed a weak-chinned, balding, forgettable man, who was just a magician, could never be who Geraldo The Foreshadower prophesied. But that's what assuming gets you, and here he was saddled with a fate he never asked for, in a time he didn't know, surrounded by people he didn't want to like, and he was out of Firewine AGAIN! The Dark Heir is a darkly satirical tale of assumptions, anti-heroes, and apocalypses, where the road to hell is actually a themed water-park slide covered in slightly less urine than a real one. It drops literary and film references faster than an NYC socialite drops names, and promises endless laughs - including, but not limited to, sad chuckles, guffaws, uncontrollable giggles at inappropriate moments, brays, barks, cackles, snorts, cachinnations, and the occasional howl (though that may be the Welsh Werewolves showing up unannounced). Consider yourself warned... Reviews: "Completely and adorably bonkers," says @floranocturna "Hilarious in every way. Even when I cringed, I laughed," says @LadySapphire2018 Winner of The Trident Awards
