After they return, Gianna goes swimming and is stalked underwater by the fish monster. Gianna discovers that the creature is a humanoid amphibian and begins visiting the creature in secret, forming a close bond with it. Meanwhile, Amphibian and Gianna have developed a mutual attraction. Gianna and the creature soon become romantically involved, having sex in her cottage which she at one point floods for him.
