Even though they are surrounded by Grimm they still able to beat them. But something about the Grimm seems different, they've gotten smarter and stronger. It was no matter to team RWBY they can always out smart them just like always, right? It was the final strike for Ruby to take but instead of a strike it was a bite. Weiss, Blake, and Yang were too occupied with their group of Grimm to warn Ruby that there was a Beowulf behind her.
