Oneshot where Logan and Rory did not meet at Yale, but elsewhere. And, well, I think the name says it all, don't you?

What did happen after Rory told Lorelai those famous four words. This is a continuation of A Year in The Life.

This story begins in December of 1987. Rory is 3 years old and living in Hartford with Lorelai. They never moved to Stars Hollow. Instead they lived with the Gilmores until Lorelai graduated from high school. After that Lorelai got a job and with some help from her parents, got her own place in Hartford. This is what their lives might have looked like if Lorelai never moved to Stars Hollow.

This story picks up 8 years after the end of season 7. June 2015. Rory hadn't seen Logan since she rejected his proposal. They'd been living their lives completely separate from each other, but what happens when they unexpectedly run into each other?

When Rory Gilmore wakes up the morning she's supposed to start Chilton, she isn't fifteen anymore-at least not in her mind. She remembers everything: the heartbreak, the mistakes, the endless push and pull between her mother's free spirit and her grandmother's perfection.
