Rory is on the campaign trail with Senator Obama working for what is, in my head, somewhere between Huffington Post and Politico- she's writing political pieces and has a blog for the site Reporter Girl: Life as a Rookie Reporter, Logan did propose and walk away- went to California. This story picks up towards the end of June 2007 as the couple reconnects- they've missed each other, they were always destined to be together. But what happens when a sudden and severe illness threatens their newly rebuilt relationship? How will they juggle a life threatening illness, burgeoning careers, parental disapproval and Finn? Slightly AU- Lorelai and Chris had some marital problems, but none of that "you're the man I want to want" stuff, they're actually trying to work through it, going to therapy, it's going well and Gigi is acclimating to Stars Hollow life. Title comes from the quote by Plato: "And when one of them meets with his other half, the actual half of himself, whether he be a lover of your or a lover of another sort, the part are lost in an amazement of love and friendship and intimacy."

Takes place right after Rory's graduation party at Emily and Richard's house and Logan's has just proposed. See what happens when both Emily and Shira go overboard while planning their wedding. May contain spoilers!!!

What happens when Rory and Logan choose their daughter and happiness above everything? Order: Always Ace Always Us Always Ours

Logan was planning on proposing to Rory at her graduation party, but when she gave him some big news he decided to put that plan on hold. How are their lives going almost 4 years later?

In one night, her entire world was flipped on its axis. Everything she had worked so hard for-Everything that she sacrificed her time, her energy, and her relationships to was gone. Rory had done the thing no one in High Society dared to do. She had dosed her future in gasoline and handed her Grandmother the matches. Now, she would have to figure out how to get through college with no safety net, none of her Mother's moral support, and without a cent of her grandparents' funding, all because she refused to marry some guy named Colin McCrae.

The simple fascination of Rory and Logan's love is not what gets tangled in my mind. There is something not too shy from magic that creates this story for theirs. The writers are not given enough credit with this relationship, I hold it in my heart not only as a boyfriend girlfriend relationship, but the love between two humans that is just not like anything ever seen in a show, or a movie, an indescribable story of true love. I think Gilmore Girls as a whole was robbed of how their story should've ended, I really don't think it Is what Amy and Dan planned when writing the show in fact I know it wasn't, as a writer and reader, and appreciator of art created with words I can say with full confidence what happened is not what they intended when Rory and Logan's love was created. Even though the last 2 real episodes and the revival are not where I believe the show was intended to lead I will be starting after the last 4 words, here's my take.

This story starts off from the test run of the dragonfly inn. What would've happened if season 4 went a little differently

A mostly Post-AYITL (in part AU). Through unexpected circumstances Logan's and Rory's paths cross where they least expect it. Will a social occasion lead them back into each-other's arms against all odds and their history of angst? Will include Gigi & Finn pairing in the background (maybe some might remember my story about Finn & Gigi in Melbourne I had posted for a while. This is a new take on their story, transforming this into the backgroun of this ROGAN story. AN: Not everyone will like this, and I am aware of that. Will involve complex relationships where certain actions are not so black and white. Aim to make this a slow burn. Eventually though I want to make it a fixer and include healthy communication. SPOILERS/ Trigger warning: cheating, miscarriage, age gap, open relationship, divorce/separation
