Clay and George both go to a large high school. Clay is a stereotypical star of the football team, always surrounded by girls, incredibly popular, you get the deal. And George, fairly quiet, considered a nerd by anyone who considers him at all. Little does the entire school know, the famous youtuber they all ogle over, NotFound, is the same brunette they bully on a daily basis. Soon though, a simple sticky note would change Georges quiet life by a landslide. I update at least once a day sometimes twice lmao, usually around 1000-1500 words. George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.

Not following the plot of the nextflix show, just the song. This story would be an emotional rollercoaster guys. In this story, George is a new kid at his highschool. He's struggling with his mental health at the time but also the fact he's a closeted gay in a home and school of basically homophobic people. And of course, George fell hard for Mr. Popular. Clay. The only kid that wore a mask day to day without being judged. George always wore hoodies to hide his shame. Trigger warning: shame meaning his emaciated form from starving himself and the pale scars on his arms. He had no one to turn to. You're good with no more triggers now George walks the halls day to day, hoping he won't be shoved around anymore. He's on the verge of breaking but refuses to give up, that hope in his heart that it'll all be worth it. Clay, Mr. Popular is the best kid in school. Popular, funny, outgoing, jock. (Not on the football team tho, to cliché) All of it. One thing nagged him however. He was a playboy, bouncing from girl to girl. Not because he wanted to mess with their hearts, he just never felt comfortable with them. Clay didn't know it yet but accidentally ending up with the new boy's number may be the best thing that happened to him.

College is always full of surprises, friends, and stress. And a dash of romance drama. George is a coder, always has been and always will be. His passion is based around the game Minecraft, although they aren't quite well-known. He's the typical stay-in-the-dorm hiding with his computer type student, rarely going out unless he needs food. Clay is an athletic god. It's an understatement saying the college swim team is good since, well, they're the best. If high school status's were still around, he would be well into the popular podium, the girls adoring him, many friends, and practically being a teacher's pet. Maybe it was fate that Clay decided to work at the local coffee shop, a quaint location amongst the common restaurants of a small town, which George finds to be a second home. Maybe it was fate that George manages to get tangled into the "popular" circle. All they know is that college is one helluva game to play.
