Emma Smith's life is hard. Her family is in a constant state of failing. Whether they can't pay the bills or they're not home enough, there's always something. Emma doesn't expect her whole life to flip so drastically when she goes for an interview to help out her family, but it does and it will change her life forever. (Short Story) -------------------------- He gives four sharp knocks and the door is opened to a gorgeous man in a black suit. His hair is swept back and falls in soft layers down the side of his face. His tan skin practically glows from the inside out and his green eyes are so bright it looked like the Amazon Rainforest was hiding in his gaze. He lifted his face into a half smile at the sight of us, showing off the dimple on the left side of his mouth. "This is Emma Smith," Parker gestures to me, making me frown, "Emma, this is Aiden Jackson." Aiden holds out a hand and I hesitantly put my hand into his warmer one and instead of shaking my hand, he pulls me into his arms, making me squeak. I look back to Parker fearfully, but his eyes are numbingly cold. "You get her for one hundred and fifty dollars an hour. Call me when you're done." "You got it." Dread slides into the pit of my stomach as Aiden shuts the door and gives me a dangerous grin. -------------------------- This is my first story, please don't judge!!
