Danele Berne is a shy girl, who has depression that started when her mother passed away. Her dad works for a relatively large business, he gets transferred a lot. His job lands him in Lima, Ohio. Her uncle Will teaches at the local highschool, as the Spanish and Glee Club teacher. He is the only person that knows of her singing talent and he allows her to be in the Glee club.
