When Merlin disappeared, it took a chunk out of everyone's heart, especially Arthur's. The knights and him checked all of the five kingdoms, but he was nowhere to be found. Everyone just gave up and believed that he died. Because of this, Arthur was a mess and shut himself in his room. If you want to find out the rest read this story. Lancelot didn't die. Morgana didn't turn evil. Mordred is still a knight. Lancelot and Gwen are together instead.

The knights find out about Merlin's scars and intend to find out more. Merlin attempts to evade certain subjects.

If he died, then, his parents had died for nothing, so he ran away. He made a home on the streets in the city of Caerleon. He became a skilled thief and swords fighter. He was having the time of his life stealing things, that was until he had to flee from the kingdom before he was killed. He traveled to Ealdor in the kingdom of Essetir. There, a woman called Hunith took him in and taught him a few things in the medical care. Years later, he becomes the servant of Prince Arthur. Can his secret past stay secret?
