**Prologue**
They say people only remember the most important nights of their lives.
But for Byeon Woo-seok-
It was the night the sky cried with him.
Rain poured mercilessly over Han River Park, drenching the empty pathways and turning the city lights into blurred streaks against the dark.
He sat alone on a bench beneath the storm, soaked to the bone.
Heart shattered.
Mind exhausted.
Soul unbearably tired.
His girlfriend had betrayed him.
The public adored him but knew nothing of the man beneath the fame.
And for the first time in years-
Byeon Woo Seok wanted to disappear.
Then suddenly-
The rain stopped.
His brows furrowed.
Slowly, he lifted his head.
A pair of elegant heels stood before him, gleaming against the wet pavement.
Then the hem of a coat.
Then delicate fingers wrapped around the handle of a **purple umbrella** shielding him from the downpour.
And finally-
Her.
A woman with soft eyes, rain-kissed hair, and a face so beautiful it stole the breath from his lungs.
She offered him the gentlest smile.
**"You can keep it."**
His lips parted beneath his mask.
She glanced toward the storm-dark sky.
Then said words he would carry in his heart for the rest of his life-
**"The sky cries too when hearts are heavy."**
Her eyes met his.
**"But even storms end eventually."**
And then-
She turned.
Walked away.
Vanished into the rain before he could even ask her name.
Woo Seok rose to his feet too late, staring after her retreating figure as his heart pounded violently in his chest.
Clutching the purple umbrella in trembling hands, he whispered into the storm-
**"...Who are you?"**
He did not know then-
That the woman who disappeared into the rain...
Would one day become the love he could never let go.
