Shoto Todoroki's life had been a complicated and difficult one. It had been even more so, it seemed, since the day his closest childhood friend was abducted. He knew his father had been asked to find her, but he couldn't help but doubt that his father had truly been looking. Over time, it became another reason Shoto developed feelings of spite towards his father. He never stopped wondering what happened to her, as well as if she was still able to be saved. Years later, on a cold Winter day, Shoto was with his father, Endeavor, making his way back towards his family's estate when he noticed a young woman staggering along the snow covered streets.
