Dear Diary, I love him. I shouldn't, but I do. I love him. It wasn't love at first sight. I definitely wasn't. I knew him long before. I even rejected him when he asked to walk me home in seventh grade. I remember eyeing him up and down and going "ew no" while he kept pleading. I thought I knew him. I knew his name was Hero Fiennes Tiffin (everybody knew his name anyway) and I knew he was the star basketball player of the school, and player in general. But everything changed when I got to know him. I know shouldn't feel this way. His motives where clear when he approached me. "I want you to help me make her fall in love me" he said. But instead of her, I fell for him. I didn't want to, I swear! But like a stupid high school girl I fell for him. And sadly for me that isn't what he wanted.

What happens when you get on the bad side of too many people? Josephine Langford knows all about this. She's the daughter of one of the most dangerous Mafia leaders on the east coast. She watches as everyone around her dies because of her father's profession. When things suddenly change, she doesn't know how to react. She wasn't taught to survive alone, she was taught to run and let daddy handle it. How far will that get her now? Hero Tiffin has a lot of enemies. Bad childhood led to the person who he is today. A killer. Over the years he's learned that gangs and Mafia groups are two very different things. In his mind, gangs kill for sport, Mafias were like a family. Except he doesn't want a family, he never had one. He hates the idea of having a family, so that's why he targets the biggest Mafia on the east coast. !!Disclaimer!! I intend no harm on anyone, this is a story therefore none of this is real. As for the Mafia family in this story, it is completely made up though some of the themes are very real. There is very strong mature content in this story, lots of violence and later on, probably sex. Please know this going into the story, thank you. "I shouldn't have let you go" I whispered slowly. "But you came back" she touched my shoulder. "And now..." "And now what?" I yelled. At least I think I did. "I can't save you. I can't save you like Kate saved Matt" my thoughts immediately ran to Cameron. "Because you are already saved" He can't hear a thing. But he doesn't care. All he cares about is to hear her, her voice and the little waves in it. He wants to hear her loud and clear. However, the sound of his heart breaking is so much louder than her.

"Why are you looking at my lips like that?" I decided to be straight forward and ask him. He were still swaying back and forth at the soft music. "So I can understand what you're saying" his voice was raspy, his face dazzed. He came closer rubbing his forehead to mine. "But I'm not talking" Everything went upside down when Josephine Langford moved to London fore her serior year in high school. From the first day eyes were stuck on her as well as a name: "rebel" By cutting her long private school skirt on the first day of school standing up for her rights another name stuck to her: "slut" She lived by those names, not caring if people knew that they weren't true. She knew who she was and that was enough. But when she met Hero, a mysterious quiet kid, who only read books, had always his headphones on and was obssessed with waves, another name stuck to her: "The deaf kid's protector" And that time she decided to pay attention to that name and actually act on it.
