Mia Evian has to piece together the mystery of Zack Maddox, the bad boy whose life she saved, while simultaneously keeping her own crumbling life together before Zack ends up in trouble again - or worse yet, dead. ***** This is a love story. When Zack Maddox, a notorious bad boy, meets Mia Evian, a nobody with a disdain for arrogant pretty boys, the two teenagers' lives are thrown into chaos. Zack is a mystery Mia can't unravel, and as her family is torn apart by her father's infidelity, her newfound thrill-seeking attitude is the only thing keeping her head above water. As Mia's behaviour turns increasingly reckless, Zack becomes the lifeboat keeping her afloat. Mia thought she had a good grasp of the world, but she's beginning to realise the people around her are far more complex than she could have ever imagined. Worse still, she may not be the only one who needs a lifeboat. This is a love story - just not the kind you might expect. ***** Content warning: This story contains mild drug and alcohol use and themes of mental health, self-harm, and suicide. ★ NOW PUBLISHED! ★ What do you get when you add the ultimate meet cute + a bruised head? = A whole can of heartbreak. It all starts in aisle three. Lacie O'Connor prefers to see the world in black and white, logical, rational, and natural, like her biology major. She just wants to survive her freshman year of college, but first she must find a can of peas. Instead, she gets hit on the head with a box of cake mix. Trent Montgomery is all saturated and technicolor even in the maroon employee polo. Lacie thought she left him and his sheepish smiling friend at the grocery store but finds him in her most dreaded class: Intro to Philosophy. He sits next to her, and it's all PLATOnic until he presses his foot up against hers. That's all it takes for her to get lost in the philosophy of Trent. What starts out as sidewalk conversations soon leads to study sessions that transform to cuddle sessions that transform to make-out sessions. But just before winter break, Trent steps back. He dodges her texts. He kisses her in private but blows her off in public. Lacie knows miscommunication and mixed signals spread like an invasive plant species, but what she can't figure out is which version of Trent is real. The one she met in aisle three, or the one who likes to get drunk in dorm building basements. © 2015 ℓαℓαℓαℓαwriting © 2019 ℓαℓαℓαℓαwriting |Edited/NEW| © 2022 Published version All Rights Reserved |Third Place Winner in #Readytoreadya2018 Young Adult Reads Contest|

So, I'm kinda clumsy. I tripped when I walked across the stage to receive my high school diploma, knocked down a ladder that was supporting my dad, and sneezed into a wall. Yup, you read that right. I sneezed myself into a wall. So maybe I am a walking train-wreck trapped in a lanky twenty-two-year-old girl's body. At least my family loves me-tolerates me might be a better way of phrasing it-but even with my clumsiness I'm still able to get by with minimal craziness and just a whole lot of embarrassment. A whole lot. That is until the fateful September day I find myself chasing a chicken into a wedding cake. My sister's wedding cake. . . on her wedding day. . . in the middle of the reception. . . in front of two hundred other guests. I've got a new number one on my list of embarrassing moments, but this time I swear it wasn't my fault. I blame that chicken, my grandma, and the stupid bowtie she put on it, probably hoping to marry me off, so she can have the best man all to herself. Okay, fine, so maybe it was totally my fault, but. . . This is how it happened ©2018 ℓαℓαℓαℓαwriting

⚡caution : this isn't a story of happily-ever-after love & heartwarming romance. this is a story of heartbreak. ⚡ all the graphics in this book are made by me!! the pictures, although, are taken from pinterest and belong to their rightful owners. ⚡ attention : this is a very unedited piece of work!!! i'll edit it someday in 2023, though, don't worry. ⚡please note that this book is exclusive to only wattpad for now, so if you see it somewhere else, please inform me! • ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ • Not all love is meant to last. • ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ • Elaine Black doesn't wear her heart out on her sleeve. Or so had she thought until she collided with the cheeky green-eyed boy, Kayden Lawson, who had the most charming tricks up his sleeve - tricks just smooth enough to make Elaine realise, that maybe, indeed, she did wear her heart out on her sleeve. Maybe, for a few late night talks, stolen glances and shy flirty exchanges - Elaine was completely willing to change everything about herself - to fit in. To make Kayden keep looking at her. But unfortunately, every person does not know how to keep care of another's heart, and often end up breaking them. And spoiler alert, Kayden turned out to be one of them. Too bad that even after her heart was abandoned, Elaine's heart kept singing Kayden's name like a long-forgotten song. Too bad that, undoubtedly, heartbreak weather had come. • ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ • unedited. ©2022 to Aishi Mitra @aishixwrites.
