BOOK 1 OF THE GIFT CHRONICLES ••• When the Moon Goddess created the first werewolves, she split one soul between the two of them, thus creating a perfect soulmate for every werewolf thereafter, known as their mate. Upon the birth of a werewolf, she assigns them with a supernatural ability, known as their Gift••• Ares is a killer. During the day, she is busy fulfilling her duties as the Gamma of her pack. However, before anyone wakes, she sneaks out to unclaimed territory and assassinates rogues to avenge her parents' murder. The Moon Goddess made the mistake of granting her the ability to materialize weapons at will, and Ares fully intended to use her powers as much as she could to deal out vigilante justice. Cain, the cruel Alpha of the Blood Lake Pack, has given up on finding his mate. At 28 years old, it seems unlikely that he will ever find her. All hope is lost until he meets the shockingly violent Gamma from a neighboring pack. His only problem is, she won't go with him easily. He was gigantic. The 7'0 monster of a man towered over her, even though he was sitting. Bright cyan eyes gazed down at her unreadably. He gestured with his large fingers for her to come closer. She'd anxiously waddle up to him. His bare chest was on full display. Long, complex tattoos covered his right peck and entire arm. A language she didn't understand was written all along it. She was squeezing her thighs together and studying his manly appearance like a whimpering dog in heat. She could only squeal when he settled his hands on her hips and hauled her onto his lap. ------------------------ Suffering from severe amnesia, a woman wakes up cold and alone in a forest. She doesn't know where she is, how she got here, or who she even is. She's fortunate that a nearby community finds her and takes her in, where she meets a silent and... clingy... brute.

The kingdom is bleeding, and war is no longer coming - it's here. Rogues rise under one banner. Her father's. Villages burn, packs fall, and the Lycan King is out for blood. Then she appears - shackled, silent, defiant. A rogue. A prisoner. A mystery. Kalowna Vaekhar doesn't tolerate weakness. He conquers it. But something about her makes his instincts snarl and his wolf still. She's too composed for someone broken. Too dangerous for someone without a wolf. Too tempting for a king who swore to never lose control again. He should execute her. Instead, he locks her behind gold and steel and watches the storm gather in her eyes. Something ancient stirs in her bones. Something forbidden. And the more she awakens, the more his empire begins to crack. She's not just part of the war. She's the key to ending it. Or destroying everything he was born to protect. "You're a rogue," he says, voice low and filled with contempt. "And I despise everything that makes you one." She lowers her gaze, voice barely a whisper: "I am what they made me... broken and lost."

They said the Hunt was sacred. That if I was chosen, it meant fate. But fate didn't feel like a mouth on my skin or claws at my back. It felt like blood. Mine. For years, I stayed hidden. Quiet. Unclaimed. I stole seeds from the state fields, grew food in secret, fed my family from soil and silence. I did everything right - stayed beneath their radar, beneath their noses. I didn't make waves. I didn't ask for more. But monsters never forget a scent. And when the Hunt came, I was scented. Tracked. Taken. I stabbed him. I buried the blade in his shoulder and watched him bleed. It didn't matter. Because he still bit me. And the world saw. Now my face is on every screen. The girl who didn't run. The girl who fought back. Some call me a rebel. Some call me a mate. But they all forget one thing. I wasn't made to be claimed. I was made to survive. And if they want to collar me, cage me, crown me - they'll have to reckon with everything I've kept buried beneath the roots. Because I am not the flower. I'm the fire beneath it.
