Chele Brandon is a busy administrator in a Seattle hospital. She loves her job and her friends. Her life changes when a serial killer begins terrorizing Seattle and she unwittingly becomes his focus. Added to this burden is the arrival of a policeman from London, Tony Morgan, who makes it his priority to protect Chele and as much of the population as he can. Chele marries Tony and they begin a lifelong love affair which is interrupted by the most serious event in human history. She and Tony must navigate through life after the Rapture with Satan and his minions, both demon and human, in hot pursuit.
