Guillerma didn't mean to kill the Chosen One. She was just trying to escape from the Intergalactic Collegiate Parking Permit Police, but instead she's murdered the one person that can save her corner of the galaxy. And that's not even the weird part. The weird part is that the Chosen One looks just like her. Join Guillerma on her mischievous, ill-advised romp around the galaxy as she attempts to impersonate her dead doppelganger and evade the clutches of the law.

If you have ever needed a pithy bit of advice from a long dead flounder- excuse me- founder of Swanburne Academy for Poor, Bright Females, that is, then this is where you shall find it. From the lips of Agatha Swanburne have poured the most profound wisdom, and I at least have benefited from her words. I promise you will not find this book dull, boring, tedious, or uninteresting, and if you were not in the habit of writing prompt thank-you notes before now, perhaps you will be motivated.

The beasts have been attacking for months now. Each night, they enter the town, tear apart houses, and devour the inhabitants. Weapons are useless. The townsfolk have nowhere to go and no hope left. And then a huntsman walks into town. The first day, he kills three of the beasts, bringing back their heads as trophies. The huntsman's band continues to rid the forest of the monsters, bringing back heads and pelts every evening. They're heroes. Or are they?

Once the valleys and forests of Meterik were ruled by mighty Dragon Lords; Northtail the Just, Genmaryen of Glenvale, Menikik Ken the Brewer, and many others. But now they are gone. Decades later, the Meterikite people live under the oppression of the Valley Thieves, the descendants of highwaymen and sellswords, with nothing but stories of dragons and the hope that one day their true lords will return. In one small town, this hope is turned to reality when a traveling bard arrives with a most peculiar tale, one they've never heard before. A tale of dragons. NOTE: Mild violence throughout whole story and one slightly suggestive scene. Best Rankings 10 in #revolt

Where there is power, there is corruption. In the city of Halogaist, it comes in the form of a weak willed Council, degenerate city guards, and the League of Huntsmen. Once, the Huntsmen kept the city safe from the creatures of Wullferg Forest. Now, for people like Emily, wrongfully accused and imprisoned, the forest is their only hope. Emily runs from the Huntsmen and right into a pack of werewolves--creatures she thought were only legends. Even here she can't escape the effects of corruption. Instead of leading to crooked guards and pompous council members, it leads to sadism, terror, and bloodshed. As if learning how to behave in an entirely new culture and coping with the grief of lost love isn't enough, Emily finds herself caught in a game of lies and deceit--and no one will tell her the rules. What's worse is the other game she's made to play. She thought she knew the rules, she was engaged after all. But romance is different when you're dealing with werewolves. Especially anti-social, grim faced Alphas, or over enthusiastic redheads who are so nice and so oblivious, or brutes who only have one thing on their mind. There's no escape from any of this, nowhere left to run to. Only, Emily doesn't want to run this time. She lost her home once, and will do anything to keep it from happening again. If her newfound friends can't protect themselves, she'll do it for them. And if staying means putting up with advances from mate-crazy werewolves and playing nice with the Alpha, so be it. Emily soon learns that it's not just the weak who need help, but sometimes the strong as well--including the Alpha. But often, when you help someone, you end up drawing close to them, no matter what your original intentions were. And soon she's too close to pull away, even if she wanted to. Emily may be weaker and lacking claws, but she has been told than an iron poker to the throat can do a lot of damage--enough to kill a werewolf. CONTAINS: Violence, abuse, mild language.

"I wasn't raised to be a king, I was raised to be a monster." No truer words were ever spoken about Drew Hawthorne. Werewolf and gladiator, all he has ever known is death and hatred. Until one day he's given an opportunity, a purpose, by Roksov, leader of the largest rebellion in the north. He's given the chance to topple the regime that has made his life hell. And he takes it. Infiltrating the capital city of Saevus with his new companion Blaze Green, a Hellhound and professional mercenary, Drew works his way into the favor ot the Crown Prince, the castle guards, and a young woman who tells him to call her Snaps. But perhaps making an unbreakable oath with a half-wolf wasn't the best idea. Especially since Roksov seems to not only want to ill the king, but every other human he can get his fangs in. Then again, Drew is a monster. And monsters aren't known for keeping oaths or showing mercy. Monsters get what they want, disregarding all rules and standards. But Drew doesn't know what he wants, only that he'll kill to get it. And kill he does. In fact, he starts a civil war. #TheShineAwards Golden Awards Fantasy Second Place Winner Best Rankings 3 in #usurper 8 in #gladiator
