As a reader, she was so annoyed of his existence, why did I had to meet this great lord so fast? I just want to be a teacher!!! Lin Xia sigh in her heart, she had absolutely zero resistance to cute things. The childish kid in front of her did not have any traces of the villain that it will become in the future. I'm enough!"said a otherworldly handsome youth with a smile on his face Lin Xia felt goosebumps all over her! Why the hell is the villain doing kabedon(pushing her/him to the wall) to her? Lin Xia was clueless! Why is he not fighting with the main protagonist for the female lead's love? Why is he not going yandere(Very possessive) over the female lead? Rei, a former samurai lieutenant is reincarnated into the body of an 8 year old, who happens to be the main villainess in a romance novel for foreign girls. A villainess destined to be executed by her fiancé the crown prince for cruelty towards the heroine of the novel. To avoid being executed she must to make allies among her enemies, get out of the heroine's way, and untangle herself from the poisonous intrigue of court the best she can in the role of a future courtier. However, the vaguely described backdrop said nothing about the conflicts building beyond the heroine's understanding, or that women weren't allowed on the battlefield. I am honestly left speechless. I am very touched and honored by all the attention, by all the sweet, beautiful and fun comments I've received over the last month, it's been truly amazing. To those who already enjoy it, I hope you will continue to do so. To those who decide to pick it up, I hope you have as much fun with it as I did!

How do some writers manage to create characters that are so real, you feel like you've met them? Characters that you wish you could hang out with long after you finish the last page, because they're so fascinating, or because they seem to see the world just like you do, or just because they're out there seizing life in a way you wish you could? It's all too easy to create characters that feel flat, stereotyped, and predictable. This book will show you how to create characters that are the opposite: characters that are vibrant, unique, and surprising. It takes you step-by-step through the process of coming up with a character and fleshing it out with details that will bring that character to life. It will help you make sure that your character is believable, that you have clear motivations for his or her decisions and actions--and it will show you how you communicate those motivations to your readers. Most of all, though, this book will help you to have fun taking your character to the next level. I'll update every Friday and will answer any questions you leave in the comments. Please let me know if there's anything in particular you want me to cover! If you find this helpful, I also blog over at www.cherylreif.com to help writers become more productive, more creative, and more skilled at their craft. :) Cheryl
