A girl named Aisling Solace is a mortal in a world that is barren of magic. Once her brother dies she gets taken by people who take her to their part of the land which is full of magic and learns that a war is causing discourse everywhere, and the only way it'll stop is if someone worthy takes the throne and can handle the magic that gets bestowed apon them to restore order
