He couldn't look her in the eyes. "Thanks for rescuing me again," she said and grabbed his face so he would look at her in the eyes. "Thanks for rescuing me," he whispered. Brielle cried and put her lips on Daryl's tasting his and her tears mix in their kiss. Brielle pulled away again knowing Daryl wouldn't do it.
